Cannes 2012

In Memory of Marilyn Monroe

Paz Vega in Stephane Rolland

Lana Del Rey in Alberta Ferretti

Jane Fonda in Stella McCartney

Barbara Palvin in Valentino

Jessica Chastain in Gucci

Naomi Watts in Marchesa

Tilda Swinton in Haider Ackermann

Natasha Poly in Gucci

Bianca Balti in Dolce & Gabbana

Here are my favorites from this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Without any doubt Bianca Balti is number one in my list. She is stunning! The dress is so beautiful, it reminds of a flamenco costume – feminine and super hot :). I love the floral print mixed with the Renaissance painting figures πŸ™‚ Let’s not talk about the hair and make-up…

As always Tilda Swinton pushes the limits of the red carpet fashion with her Haider Ackermann dress. Every time I look at her, I think to my self: “She must be coming from another planet”. Tilda has one of the most interesting faces I have ever seen, and combined with her style, she becomes a true innovator and icon.

Among the other guests, Paz Vega caught my attention as well. I personally don’t like mermaid dresses, but I think her Stephane Rolland dress is very chic. For me it doesn’t look so massive and heavy (the way Eva Longoria’s gown does). The neckline is beautiful and the belt is the perfect accessory for the whole look.

There are other pretty dresses that I have chosen in my final selection, but the thing is that they are just pretty :).
